Ivorian centre back Marius Ange Koffi Bini has officially joined Ghana Premier League side Kumasi Asante Kotoko. (Scroll down to watch video)
The 24 year old joined the Porcupine Warriors on a two year deal after having a stint in Belarus with FK Smorgon.
He is the latest signing for the club this offseason after Kotoko welcomed back Richard Boadu “Agadas” and goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim.
The Kumasi-based club finished eighth in the GPL last season amid a tumultuous period that was headlined by having three individuals fill the head coaching role.
Speaking after his transfer was completed, Koffi Bini stated how confident he was in his ability to help his new club excel.
“I believe in my abilities as a footballer and, like most major clubs in the world, the demands are always high. I will therefore do my utmost to help the team achieve its collective target” he said in his first official interview.
