FC Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick’s quest for a century of wins since taking over the club had to wait after his team’s loss 2-1 to Real Madrid in the El Clasico in the immediate past round of games in the Spanish La Liga.
However, the historic mark was chalked on Saturday, October 31 as Barcelona hammered Deportivo Alaves 6-1 for the club’s 10th win in 11 games into the 2026-2027 season.
After finishing third in the Men’s Player of the Year Award in the 2026 Ballon d’Or rankings, Lamine Yamal delivered the perfect response by scoring twice and adding an assist.
Beating Alaves notched Flick’s 100th win in just 131 games in all competitions and put him atop Barcelona’s rankings as the coach with the highest win percentage in the club’s storied history. (Scroll down to view detailed breakdown of statistics)

This mark put Flick ahead of club legends like Pep Guardiola and Luis Enrique in this category as Barcelona aim to win a third La Liga title in a row.

The Blaugrana next take on Aston Villa on Tuesday, November 3 in the UEFA Champions League.
