Tokyo 2020 Olympics Football: 30 Black Queens called up for camping

Black Queens head coach, Mercy Tagoe Quarcoo, and her technical team have called up 30 players to start camping at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram ahead of their second round 2020 Olympic Games qualifiers against Gabon.

The contingent is made up of both local and foreign-based players including Janet Egyir and Abdulai Mukarama.

The camping sessions are expected to start on Tuesday August 6th and the players will be observed by the technical team before a final determination is made on the the number of players to be used for the match against Gabon.

The two-legged tie will be played on August 26 and September 1. Gabon will host Ghana in the first leg and success for the Black Queens over the two legs will pit them against either Malawi or Kenya.
