Former IBF Intercontinental Welterweight Champion Joshua Clottey has called on Richard Commey to set the tone and dictate his future bouts.

“He was very strong the whole 10 rounds he did very well I think he deserves a round of applause…I think the next thing for him to do to get the decision, I think there has to be more pressure. He has to press the action” he stated.
Commey started the fight strongly but gave way to Pedraza’s strong finish to the bout after the Puerto Rican countered with body shots in the latter rounds.
Commey earned the split draw decision in his Junior Welterweight division debut fight after judges scored the bout the judges scored the fight 97-93 for Pedraza, 96-96 for Commey and 95-95 in the 10 round fight held at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
