Chief Executive Officer of Karela United Football Club, Elloeny Amande, has stated the recently organized 29th Ordinary Congress of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) addressed the most important issue to Ghana’s football fraternity.
In his exclusive interview with Citi Sports, the Karela CEO pointed out that the setting the roadmap to the GFA elections.
GFA General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo said at the Congress that the elections will be held in October but didn’t give an exact date for the elections.
“Congress is congress. It’s more of an AGM (annual general meeting) of sort. I guess that maybe in some people’s expectations, we didn’t have the engagements and confrontations that everybody was sort of was looking to see.
The key thing is that what is the most important to the football community? I guess what’s top of mind for most people is the roadmap to the elections and the General Secretary said that they are going to announce it soon.”
Karela United finished seventh in the 2022-2023 BetPawa Ghana Premier League campaign.
