Bechem United CEO Kingsley Osei "Lord Zico" Bonsu

Kingsley Osei Bonsu, Chief Executive Officer for Bechem United, has doubled down on his reasons for supporting Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku as the incumbent President seeks a second term in office as the lead man for the GFA.

The man popularly known as Lord Zico said this in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports as he seeks a second term in office as an Executive Council member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

The veteran administrator has thrown his weight behind Kurt Okraku as the latter goes into Thursday, October 5’s 2023 GFA Elections unopposed after the disqualification of his opponent George Afriyie.

“I believe that Ghana football is going well based on the policies that we’ve all helped to execute.

That is the more reason why I am telling you that if I say I don’t support Kurt (Okraku), I don’t have any basis to say that I am seeking re-election. I am 100% for his policies and there is there need for me to accept them.”
