Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club striker Steven Mukwala believes he will score more goals for the Porcupine Warriors.

He said this in the aftermath of Kotoko’s 4-2 win over Nations FC in the Round of 64 stage of this season’s MTN FA Cup.

The win books Kotoko’s place in the Round of 32 stage and Ugandan striker Mukwala believes he will score goals as the season progresses after bagging three goals in two games.

Mukwala scored twice and produced two assists in the win over City rival Nations FC and believes there is more to come from him.

“It (scoring goals) builds my confidence as a player so I believe I’m going to score more and my confidence is coming so I believe I will give my best.”

Beating Nations FC marked Kotoko’s third win in a row in all competitions to ease the tremendous pressure on head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum who had his side go on a five game winless run earlier this season.
