FA Cup Final: The combatants have promised us good football- GFA President

Ghana Football Association (GFA) President, Kurt Okraku, says the finalists for the 2024 MTN FA Cup have promised to play out a good game this weekend.

The MTN FA Cup final takes place at the University of Ghana Stadium between Bono rivals, Nsoatreman FC and Bofoakwa Tano on Sunday, June 23.

The GFA President said this when addressing a trophy presentation made by the GFA to the University of Ghana ahead of the contest.

UG Pro Vice Chancellor (Academic and Students Affairs) Professor Gordon Awandare, Acting UG Director of Sports, Bella Bello Bitugu and a handful of high ranking personnel at the University were present at the event.

Speaking in his address, the GFA President communicated that the Bono rivals have promised to deliver a top performance in the big game after praising the UG Stadium’s facilities. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

The teams played two drawn games in the 2023-2024 Ghana Premier League but Bofoakwa ended the season relegated to the Division One while Nsoatreman finished in fifth place.
