“Anywhere my personal best, getting a national record would be amazing but yeah, I don’t set a time, I just go out there, do my best and see what happens.”
Stacey is the first of eight Ghanaian athletes to compete at the second Paris Games with fellow swimmer Joselle Mensah scheduled to compete in the Women’s 50 Metre Freestyle Heat on August 3.
Both are bidding to win Ghana’s first medal in swimming in the history of the Olympic Games; Abeiku Jackson represented Ghana at the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games.
