Football legend Gary Lineker has praised the performance of Ghana winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku in Leicester City’s 3-2 win over Southampton.

Leicester staged a great comeback win after trailing 2-0 at half time with Issahaku coming off the bench to register an assist and Jordan Ayew scoring the winning goal in the 98th minute.

Despite playing 31 minutes, 20 year old Issahaku was named as the Man of the Match and Leicester City manager Steve Cooper stated that he is enjoying helping Issahaku become an exciting player. For Lineker, he described the former Dreams FC player as “special”. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“The game really changed when (Abdul) Fatawu came on. As a Leicester fan, my kids all follow Leicester as well, every time we see the team sheet now and then and he’s not on it, we all go, “Oh no not again. Why is he not playing? This kid is special.”
