FIFA has confirmed that the Accra Sports Stadium will host Ghana’s 2026 World Cup qualifier against Chad on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 7:00 PM.
The Black Stars, currently second in Group I with 9 points, face a critical match in their quest for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Level with group leaders Comoros after four games, Ghana has recorded three wins and one loss so far.
The team’s qualifying journey started with a 1-0 victory over Madagascar, followed by a defeat to Comoros.
The Black Stars regained momentum with back-to-back wins against Mali and the Central African Republic in June 2024.
The Black Stars last played at the Accra Sports Stadium during a 2-1 defeat to Niger in the 2025 AFCON Qualifiers. That loss contributed to Ghana’s failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, set to take place in Morocco.
