The Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, has commended his deputies, Veronica Commey and Gideon Hammond, for their competence and diverse backgrounds.
Veronica Commey, a renowned sports journalist, brings extensive experience from her journalistic career and will oversee business development at the NSA.
She will collaborate with Gideon Hammond, a seasoned sports administrator with over 15 years of expertise in sports management and youth development, who is tasked with advancing infrastructural improvements, talent development, and administrative reforms.
In an exclusive interview with Citi Sports, Ampofo Ankrah expressed optimism about working with the duo, confident that their combined skills will drive growth at the NSA, which has faced challenges under previous leadership.
