Member of the Parliamentary Select Committee for Youth and Sports and MP for the Tain Constituency Adama Sulemana believes that the newly appointed Director-General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, has limited time to implement critical reforms for Ghanaian sports.
Sulemana praised President John Dramani Mahama for appointing the seasoned sports journalist, describing the NSA role as vital to the nation’s sports development.
He noted that the Committee will soon present a report from the sitting held during the 8th Parliament, where key stakeholders, including the NSA, provided insights following the Save Ghana Sports Movement’s successful protest on February 14, 2024.
“I believe Yaw Ampofo Ankrah will bring changes at the NSA, he has very limited time to make an impact there” – Hon. Adama Sulemana.
