Ghana is set to light up the 2025 CAF African Schools Football Championship as hosts of a thrilling Group A showdown, where they’ll go head-to-head with Morocco, Benin, and Malawi. With the home crowd behind them, the Ghanaian team is determined to make a bold statement against some of the continent’s most formidable school football sides.

The young stars come into the tournament with momentum on their side, having clinched gold at the 2024 Zonal Championship in Togo with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Benin in the final. This success follows their impressive silver medal finish in the 2023/24 edition, where they narrowly lost to Togo in the final match. With back-to-back appearances in the WAFU Zone B finals in both 2023/24 and 2024/25, the team is brimming with confidence and ambition.

Under the inspiring theme “Encourage, Educate, and Engage,” the 2025 edition of Africa’s premier school football tournament promises not only electrifying matches but also impactful capacity-building initiatives for youth development across the continent.

Fans can catch every thrilling moment live on CAF’s official YouTube channel, CAF TV, as the next generation of African football stars takes centre stage in Ghana.
