Vision FC head technical director Annor Walker boldly declared before kickoff that his side would score two goals in the first half against Accra Hearts of Oak.
While that exact scenario didn’t play out, his prediction wasn’t far off as the match produced two goals in total in a thrilling 1-1 stalemate.
The Ghana Premier League Round 27 clash, held at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema Newtown, showcased the grit and unpredictability that has defined this season’s run-in.

It was the visitors, Hearts of Oak, who struck first. Defender Kelvin Osei Asibey rose highest from a set-piece in the 38th minute, guiding a precise header past the Vision goalkeeper to give the Phobians a slender lead heading into the break.
But the hosts were far from done.
Just three minutes into the second half, Meschack Sowah Adjetey restored parity with a composed finish, capping off a spell of sustained pressure from Vision FC.

Substitute Emmanuel Akansase nearly tilted the tie completely in Vision’s favor with a powerful run and low-driven shot in the 60th minute, but his effort skimmed the outside of the post, drawing gasps from the home support.
In the end, both sides shared the spoils ; but not without leaving their mark on a fiercely contested afternoon. And while Annor Walker’s pre-match prophecy didn’t quite come to full fruition, he certainly left with more than just empty words. Half right, half scathed.
