In a ceremony held today at the camp of Women’s Premier League side, Epiphany Warriors, experienced tactician Joe Nana Adarkwa was officially unveiled as the club’s new head coach.
The appointment marks a significant coup for the Warriors, who are currently in their first season in the top flight and sit 5th on the league table. The club is hoping to build on its promising start to life in the Premier League with a more structured and ambitious approach moving forward.
Adarkwa joins the team shortly after resigning from Ampem Darkoa Ladies in December, where he spent nine trophy-laden seasons, guiding them to multiple league titles and cementing their place as a dominant force in Ghanaian women’s football and on the African stage.

Speaking at the unveiling, Adarkwa expressed his excitement about the project at Epiphany Warriors and described it as the right opportunity at this stage in his career.
I decided to work with Epiphany because of the club’s clear vision and sporting ambition. Even from afar, you can see that they are building something special,” he said. “The difference is obvious when you compare it to other clubs, and I want to be a part of that growth.
