Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club head coach, Abdul Karim Zito, isn’t showing any signs of complacency over Kotoko’s chances of winning the MTN FA Cup title.

Kotoko will play against Access Bank Division One club Golden Kick in the final on June 15 at the University of Ghana Stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors beat Berekum Chelsea 1-0 at the TNA Stadium in Tarkwa in the semifinals to progress to the finals with Kotoko getting the chance to win the trophy for the first time since 2017.

Golden Kick beat Attram De Visser 3-1 in the semifinals to continue its dream run in the competition but Karim Zito isn’t ready to harbor any complacency from his team.

“You can’t underrate any club until you get what you want so I don’t care whether they are in Division One or not I don’t care. I am going there for the cup so whoever comes there [to the final] I am going to deal with it, I am going to fight it, I am going to make sure that I beat the team and then take the cup” Zito said.
