In the lead up to Ghana’s game against South Africa on Monday, July 7 at 16:00 GMT, Black Queens head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren sounds confident about the level of growth his team has had.

He made this comment in a pre-game interview ahead of the game against the CAF Women’s AFCON defending champions; Ghana is scheduled to play against Mali and Tanzania in Group C in the coming days.

Kim Bjorkegren, who took over the job as Black Queens head coach in January, was adamant about the quality of his team to take down every opponent in the tournament and highlighted the level of growth his team has had. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“This team has been growing a lot the last month together both on the pitch but also off the pitch so I am feeling that we are physically better prepared and tactically better prepared than if I compare with one month ago and I am pretty sure the players agree with that as well.”
