Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club are embracing technology as the club gears for its President’s Cup game against arch rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

Hearts take on Kotoko in this year’s President’s Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, July 6 with the upcoming game set to serve as the first test for new head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani.

Dramani and his new look technical staff were officially unveiled earlier this week following their appointment ahead of the 2025-2026 season.

In an interview during a training session ahead of this weekend’s game, Dramani’s team was captured going through the session with a drone just as many top level teams in the world do.

Using drones during training session has largely been accepted as an improved method of monitoring players’ positioning and movement during drills.

Speaking in the interview with Hearts media, Dramani acknowledged the short period of preparation for the big game terming it as “economic”.

“We are using these moments to get the right energies, efforts and then hopefully some good performance comes up. We will try to use economic methods of training that is doing everything little by little, technical, tactical, physical and getting them in the right mindset” Dramani said.

Rise and grind, Phobians!

The battle lines are being drawn ahead of a massive clash this weekend! 🏆🔥
