Head coach of Ghana’s National Women’s Football Team, Kim Lars Bjorkegren, has made a bold claim about Nigeria’s Women’s Football Team.

Bjorkegren in a presser, stated that the Super Falcons can play with its reserve side and still end up winning this year’s AFCON.

Nigeria take on Morocco in this year’s AFCON final on Saturday, July 26 at 20:00 GMT and are aiming to win the title for a record 10th time.

After seeing his side finish third to win the competition’s bronze medal via a penalty shootout win over South Africa, Bjorkegren had zero doubts about Nigeria’s chances of lifting the trophy.

“There are so many good players in Nigeria. Nigeria can probably play with a second team and also win the tournament that’s my opinion but Morocco is also very organized so if Nigeria doesn’t show up, then Morocco will win but…I’ll put $1 on Nigeria to win” Bjorkegren said.
