Kenya athlete Faith Kipyegon delivered her latest feat of greatness by easing to first place in the 1500 Metre event at the ongoing World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Japan.

Kipyegon won the race with a time of 3:52:15 (three minutes, 52 seconds and 15 milliseconds) to win gold in the Women’s 1500 Metres competition.

Fellow Kenyan Dorcus Ewoi finished in second place with a time of 3:54:92 ahead of Australia’s 3:55:16 to give Kenya a gold and silver medal finish.

Speaking after the win, the 31 year old who has won three gold medals at the Olympics, was excited about her tactics working for her to score another major triumph.

She will be aiming for a double gold medal feat as she is set to compete in the 5000 Metre event.
