FC Barcelona needed a late goal from Ronald Araujo to score a 2-1 win over Girona in the Spanish La Liga and Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick believes that the win will spur his team to deliver wins in their upcoming games.
Pedri scored for Barcelona in the 13th minute with Lamine Yamal providing the assist; veteran midfielder Axel Witsel equalized for Girona.
Uruguay defender Ronald Araujo came off the bench in the 82nd minute to sweep the ball into the net with a composed finish with the outside of his boot off a Frenkie De Jong cross in the 93rd minute for the winning goal.
Hansi Flick was dismissed from the touchline after clashing with match officials but after seeing his team dig out a late win, the German coach believes it will give the team wins ahead of a crucial week. Barcelona take on Real Madrid in the El Clasico on Sunday, October 26 at 15:15 GMT at the Bernabeu.

“We fought to win and I hope this victory gives us confidence for the coming games. I’m happy for him [Ronald Araujo]. He always plays with his whole heart for this team.”

“This goal should give us wings, because we’re not playing as well as last season” Hansi Flick said to Barcelona media.
