Promoter of former heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua, Eddie Hearn, has debunked the notion that Joshua won’t take his upcoming fight against Jake Paul seriously.
Joshua will be taking on the YouTuber turned professional boxer Paul on December 19 in Miami in a heavyweight eight round bout with each fighter in line to get $50 million.

“People say, will he take it easy? AJ will be AJ. He don’t mess around, he don’t play with his food.”

“He’ll be going in there looking to take him [Jake Paul] out as soon as possible. AJ respects him for stepping up to the challenge.”

“He doesn’t think this is funny, he doesn’t think this is a joke. It’s a real fight, it’s not an exhibition. It’s not big gloves, it’s not shorter rounds, it’s a real fight” Hearn said to Seconds Out.
