Youtuber turned professional boxer Jake Paul has confessed that undisputed super middleweight champion Terence Crawford is ready to fight him but is willing to do so next year.
Jake Paul made this statement in his address at the first press conference for his December 19 fight against former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in Miami.
The fight was quickly put together after Paul’s planned bout against welterweight contender Gervonta Davis was called off due to Davis’ legal troubles.
While speaking on the decisions that led to his decision to fight Anthony Joshua, Jake Paul mentioned that Crawford was a candidate who was open to fight him but was willing to do so next year.
“[Anthony] Joshua was always in the plans after Gervonta [Davis] and we just started talking to a bunch of different camps.”

“Tommy Fury was scared per usual, wanted more time. Ryan Garcia was scared, Terence Crawford said yes, but wanted to do it later next year.”

“Anthony Joshua said yes, he was ready in December, let’s run it” Jake Paul said as reports indicate that Crawford is in line for a rematch against Saul Canelo Alvarez next year.
