British middleweight boxer Chris Eubank Jr says he isn’t ready to retire from professional boxing after his highly anticipated rematch with Conor Benn.
Eubank Jr. beat Benn in a very entertaining bout at the Tottenham Stadium in April and the pair face off again at the same venue on Saturday, November 15 with the bout expected to commence at 22:00 GMT.
Speaking ahead of the bout according to Sky Sports, the 36 year old said he was focused on the fight but was ready to extend his professional career and take on even “bigger fights”.
“This fight is not about closure, I’m fighting because that’s who I am. Do I need to put my body through all this, do I need to fight more? No. I’m financially free, I have been for many years. But it’s my life, it’s my passion.”

“I’m very happy that I’ve been able to have two massive fights this year and I think next year we’re going to have even bigger ones. As long as that fire’s in me, I’m going to be in that ring” Eubank Jr said.
