Managing Director of Kenpong Travel and Tours for the world cup , Dr. Kwaku Ofosu-Asare, believes taking Ghanaian supporters to the United States, Canada and Mexico for the 2026 FIFA World Cup will provide a major psychological boost for the Ghana national football team.

Ghana have officially secured qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup after finishing top of their qualifying group, marking what will be their fifth appearance at the tournament following previous participations in 2006, 2010, 2014 and 2022.

Speaking at the official launch of the agency’s World Cup travel package, Dr. Ofosu-Asare stressed that strong fan presence could inspire the team to perform at their very best on football’s biggest stage.

He noted that creating an atmosphere similar to playing at home would be crucial as the Black Stars prepare for another global campaign.

“If we can take supporters to the United States of America, it will encourage the Black Stars to do well.”

The team is expected to engage in a series of high-profile international friendlies as part of preparations, including matches designed to fine-tune tactics and build cohesion ahead of the tournament.

The Black Stars have been drawn in a challenging group alongside England, Croatia and Panama, setting up what promises to be a demanding but exciting campaign.
Dr. Ofosu-Asare added that structured travel arrangements will ensure Ghanaian fans can rally behind the team in large numbers, reinforcing belief within the squad as they aim to make a strong impact at the Mundial.
