Manchester United head coach Michael Carrick has confessed that it will take a lot for his team to beat Everton away from home.
Everton host Man United at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday, February 23 at a time Man United are unbeaten in five games including four straight wins representing a marked improvement for the Red Devils since Carrick took over as interim head coach after Ruben Amorim’s dismissal.
Man United’s form turn around has moved the club to fourth place and five points within reach of third placed Aston Villa but Carrick believes getting a win against Everton will take a lot from his team.
“A lot goes into the game, knowing what it takes to have success in this league. It’s a new challenge for us, it’s going to take a lot.”

“Going away to Everton, I know it’s a new stadium but it’s always been one of the toughest ones I’ve played away from home. We’ve got a good base, foundation, spirit” Carrick said to the club’s media.
