Norwegian side FK Bodø/Glimt produced another stunning European night as they defeated Italian giants Inter Milan 3–1 in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League knockout tie at the Aspmyra Stadium.
The home side showed intensity and tactical discipline throughout the encounter, leaving Inter struggling to create clear-cut chances despite enjoying spells of possession.
Bodø/Glimt opened the scoring in the 20th minute through Sondre Fet, who calmly finished after a well-delivered cross from Kasper Høgh. Inter responded ten minutes later when Francesco Pio Esposito levelled the score following a precise assist from Nicolò Barella, sending the game into the break at 1–1.

The second half, however, belonged entirely to the Norwegian champions. Jens Petter Hauge restored the lead just after the hour mark with a composed left-footed finish before Høgh capped off an impressive performance by scoring the third goal in the 64th minute after another swift attacking move.

Inter pushed forward in search of a lifeline, introducing Marcus Thuram and making several late substitutions, but the Italian side failed to break down a resolute Bodø/Glimt defence. Attempts from Piotr Zieliński and Carlos Augusto went astray as the hosts held firm.

The 3–1 victory gives Bodø/Glimt a significant advantage heading into the second leg, while Inter Milan face an uphill task to overturn the deficit and keep their Champions League hopes alive.
