Black Princesses Assistant Coach Raymond Fenny says preparations have already begun to ensure they overcome the last hurdle in their quest to qualify for this year’s U20 Women’s World Cup.

Ghana U-20 side secured a 3–2 aggregate win over South Africa to progress to the final qualifying round, where they are set to take on Uganda in May.

Speaking to Citi Sports, Raymond Fenny emphasized the importance of opening camp as early as possible to ensure adequate preparation.

“We have started analysing their game against Zambia and then we’ll break camp and I think early April, we should resume camping towards May.”

“Because we’ll be playing on the 3rd of May, we are still playing at home in the first round and then we’ll go there in the second round.

“But Morale is high in the camp and this match against South Africa serves as a basis, so we want to build upon it.”

“That is why we are determined that we’ll go to camp as early as possible so that we’ll be able to keep the team. “
