The FIFA World Cup 2026 final will feature a halftime show for the first time in the tournament’s history, with performances from global music stars Madonna, Shakira, and BTS.
The show is scheduled to take place on July 19 at New York-New Jersey Stadium in the US during the FIFA World Cup 2026 final.

According to FIFA, the halftime show will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, an initiative aimed at raising $100 million to improve access to quality education and football opportunities for children worldwide.
FIFA also announced that $1 from every ticket sold for FIFA World Cup 2026 matches will be donated to the fund throughout the tournament.

Early this month, FIFA unveiled the list of artists set to perform at the opening ceremonies in the three host nations ahead of the tournament’s first matches. In the United States, performers scheduled for the June 12 opening event at SoFi Stadium include Katy Perry, Future, Anitta, Lisa, Rema, and Tyla.
Large-scale music performances at major sporting events have become a key feature for audiences, particularly in the United States. Events such as the Super Bowl halftime show regularly attract huge television audiences and global attention, with performances from stars including Bad Bunny, Kendrick Lamar, and Rihanna.
The World Cup begins next month and will take place across 16 cities in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
