The NBA Western Conference Finals continues to be enthralling as the San Antonio Spurs hammered the Oklahoma City Thunder 103-82 to tie the finals four games into the best of seven game series.

After losing two games in a row, San Antonio scored the 21 point win in front of its fans before the series heads back to OKC for Game 5 on Wednesday, May 27.

Wembanyama led the way with 33 points and eight rebounds as San Antonio held OKC’s top scorers Chet Holmgren and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in check with the duo scoring 10 and 19 points respectively.

Speaking after clinching the important win, Wembanyama shared that his team’s win was something planned and executed.

“We didn’t do nothing unexpected, but the truth is we had never been in this kind of situation before.”

“It was our first deficit in a playoff series, and we just responded but it was nothing amazing. It wasn’t magic. We just did what we needed to do. The series is far from over. We’ve got [to get] six more wins before we can rest” he said.
