Ghana beat Panama 1-0 and are scheduled to play against England on Tuesday, June 23 at the Boston Stadium with a win for either team enough to clinch a spot in the next round.
In the lead up to the game, serious questions have emerged over the availability of goalkeeper Lawrence Ati Zigi who picked up an injury against Panama and was replaced by Benjamin Asare. Midfielder Thomas Partey also missed the game due to a visa denial by Canada.
However, Ati Zigi has been captured training with the rest of the goalkeepers ahead of the England game and Partey is available and Carlos Queiroz indicated that changes were inevitable in his pre-game presser.

“Panama was one game, now it’s a different game. We’re going to introduce a couple of different players in the starting lineup and… I hope we will be better, we will be able to progress” Queiroz said.

🎥 🇬🇭 “My team in the last game was resilient and disciplined, with full concentration. We have to find a way to win.”
