Ghana has arrived in Philadelphia ahead of Saturday’s decisive Group L clash against Croatia at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with a place in the Round of 32 within reach.
The Black Stars arrived on Thursday evening after travelling from Providence, Rhode Island, where they held a recovery session at Bryant University on Wednesday following Tuesday’s 0-0 draw with England at the Boston Stadium.

Head coach Carlos Queiroz and his squad will hold their only training session on Friday, June 26, at Lincoln Financial Field.

Ghana sit joint top of Group L with England on four points, after a win and a draw from their opening two matches. Croatia are third on three points, while Panama are yet to register a point.
A win over Croatia would secure Ghana’s place in the Round of 32 and Black Stars’ first World Cup knockout appearance since 2010.
England face Panama in the other group match, with both games set to decide the final standings.
If Ghana finishes top, they will face one of the best third-placed teams from Groups E, H, I, J, or K. A second-place finish would send them up against the runner-up in Group K.
