Though at the time of writing, England’s National Men’s Football Team continue to acclimatize to the humidity of the American summer period in Florida, a serious security threat has raised safety concerns in connection to the team’s camp base when competing in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
A shooting incident in Kansas City injured nine people with reports indicating that three women suffered gunshot wounds.
The incident happened at a location close to Missouri which is the location of England’s camp during its World Cup campaign.
The Three Lions are in Group L with Ghana, Panama and Croatia with the much anticipated clash against Ghana scheduled to take place in Boston on June 23.
Thomas Tuchel’s team recently beat New Zealand 1-0 in a pre-World Cup friendly and will play another friendly against Costa Rica on June 10.

Unlike the friendly game against New Zealand, England are expected to feature Arsenal quartet Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze against Costa Rica.

The Arsenal unit moved to the England camp late after competing in the UEFA Champions League Final against PSG.
