England midfielder Jude Bellingham has called on English fans to keep the unity and love for the country’s National Men’s Football Team despite suffering another heartbreaking loss.
His words, spoken via an Instagram post, came after England lost 2-1 to Argentina at the 2026 FIFA World Cup semifinals.
England held a 1-0 lead from the 55th minute in the tense game till the 86th minute when Enzo Fernandez equalised for Argentina and England conceded the winner in the 92nd minute via a Lautaro Martinez header.
The Three Lions have been heavily criticised for their performance in the crucial moment of the game and Real Madrid player Jude Bellingham has appealed to English fans by stating,

“Thank you for the unbelievable support from back home and to those who spent their hard-earned money to travel to America and get behind us.”
