Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane says it would be amazing to win the Ballon D’Or after a stellar 2025-2026 campaign.
The English striker scored 73 goals in all competitions for club and country including bagging 61 goals in 51 games while adding seven assists. Kane was also part of the England team that won bronze at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Kane said this to reporters as Bayern Munich prepare to play against rivals Borussia Dortmund in the season curtain raiser, the German Super Cup, on Saturday, August 22.
Kane won last season’s German Bundesliga and German Cup with Bayern Munich and is aiming to get enough votes to win the Ballon D’Or on October, 26 though he admitted it was out of his control.

“I am extremely proud to put in the season that I did last year. The Ballon d’Or is at big as it gets from an individual point of view. The Ballon d’Or is not in my hands.”

“I’ve done what I can do in terms of putting in performances. It’s now down to votes, and other people, and the media, and stuff I can’t control. Obviously it would be amazing if it were to happen.
