Ghana and Leicester City defender Daniel Amartey suffered what looked like a horrific ankle injury in their matchday 10 encounter against West Ham United.
In an attempt to foil an injury time attack by West Ham,Amartey overstretched himself and injured his ankle in a tussle with Michail Antonio.
It did not look good at first glance as he had to be given an ankle brace and an oxygen mask and was subsequently stretchered off.
The full extent of the injury is yet to be ascertained.
He was making his ninth league appearance of the season.
