U-20 AFCON: Black Satellites depart Ghana for Mauritania

Ghana’s U-20 male team, the Black Satellites have departed Accra to Mauritania for the 2021 U20 African Cup of Nations to be played in Mauritania.

The tournament will take place from February 14 to March 6, 2021.

A delegation made up of 26 players, 9 technical team officials and the management team left Accra on Saturday to Nouadhibou where Ghana will be based.

The Black Satellites are in Group C where they will play against Morocco, Tanzania and The Gambia.

The WAFU Zone B champions will start the tournament with the game against Tanzania on Tuesday February 16 before facing Morocco and then finally The Gambia.

Ghana will he hoping to win its fourth gold medal of the tournament, having won it in the in 1993, 1999 and 2009 editions.
