Ghanaian sprinter Sean Safo Antwi is confident Ghana is capable of winning Gold in the 4 x 100 relay event at the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo.

The relay team secured their automatic ticket to the Tokyo Games at the World Relays in Poland with an impressive performance.

Safo Antwi is convinced the team can rub shoulders with the best based on the preparation regime.

“It just goes to show that with the right support and team we can achieve.

“We can go for Gold medals because we are a team to be reckoned with.

“We are in the mix and that goes to show you that with the right preparation we can push forward to get a gold medal,” he stated on Citi Tv’s late night sports show Scorecard.

Through their performance at the Poland relays, Ghana’s team have not only qualified for the Tokyo Games but also for the World Championships next year in Oregon, USA.
