Ghana Basketball Federation Vice President (Administration), Alex Kukula, says he is proud of the work the basketball fraternity in Ghana put in to deliver a successful 3×3 Basketball competition at the African Games.

Ghana hosted the 13th edition of the African Games from March 8 to March 23 and the host nation ended up winning its first ever medal in 3×3 Basketball via a silver medal win in the Men’s Division.

Algeria beat Ghana 16-11 in the final to win gold with Uganda winning bronze but the Ghana Basketball Vice President was focused on Ghana beating the odds to win a medal and putting on a well-organized event. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“The camera crew that worked on the 3×3 event, they are Spanish and they just came from a competition in Miami. The first thing they said to me was we’ve never done any 3×3 event that has this atmosphere.”
