The Week 20 games have since been called off by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) as investigations commence into the disturbances that happened in Kotoko’s 1-0 loss.
As a result of the postponement, Hearts of Oak’s game against Bechem United, Kotoko’s tie against Young Apostles and Nsoatreman’s game against Berekum Chelsea won’t take place as planned on February 9.
The GFA has invited leaders of GPL teams supporter groups to an emergency meeting on Friday, February 7 where matters on fans role in avoiding such violent clashes are expected to be extensively discussed.
