The groups for the 2025 3X3 Basketball Championship have been set with several high schools drawn in sets to see out the inaugural edition of the competition. 3×3 is an abridged version of the sport of basketball.
42 Senior High Schools in total will compete for the chance to win the competition in the Girls and Boys categories. 18 schools will compete in the Girls Division while 24 Boys schools will compete in the Boys Division.
This year’s competition runs from Thursday, April 10 to Saturday, April 12 at the Trust Sports Emporium at Bukoum in Ghana’s capital, Accra.
In the Boys Division, Groups D and B lead the way as the strongest sets with basketball powerhouse Adisadel College, Prempeh College, Accra Academy and Ghana Senior Technical School drawn in Group D.
Group B has PRESEC-Legon, Keta Senior High Technical School, Tamale Senior High School and Mfantsipim School.

In the Girls Division, Group B is considered the strongest with Ahantaman Girls Senior High School, Wesley Girls School and St. John’s Grammar School in it.

The top ranked schools in each group and the best second ranked schools will progress to the next round in both Girls and Boys divisions.
