Public Relations Officer of Hohoe United, Kenneth Asante, believes that the team’s excellent performance at home is not exclusively down to competing in games on the Hohoe Stadium’s astro turf but also down to its home fans.

He praised Hohoe United’s fans for their tremendous role in aiding the club qualify to the Ghana Premier League after bagging a 3-1 win over Inter Allies earlier on Sunday, May 25 in the Access Bank Division One League Zone Three.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports after the win over Inter Allies that qualified Hohoe to Ghana’s top flight division, Kenneth Asante highlighted the role of Hohoe’s tremendous supporters while reveling in the club turning its qualification optimism into reality. “The home always plays the advantage; the advantage is not only about the pitch but the number 12 player. The number 12 player are the fans of Hohoe United. Anytime we have a home game, the fans always turn up in their numbers” Kenneth Asante said.
