New Patriotic Party (NPP) Flagbearer aspirant Dr. Bryan Acheampong, has indicated the Nkawkaw Sports Stadium will have an eight track running lane.

The Nkawkaw Stadium is under construction after several years of neglect and the Member of Parliament for Abetifi Constituency is fronting the project.

However, the former Minister of Food and Agriculture, in a media engagement clarified that the project is not a Bryan Acheampong project and added that high school athletics will benefit from the facelift and not just football. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“I am only helping to ensure that the field is in a state where we can play our local matches in Kwahu…especially the schools. You will remember that all the schools in Kwahu, this is where they have their athletics.”

“In the past several years, that has been curtailed so we are also creating the eight track running lane and the 100 metre lane for them to be able to use the side of the field for their sports” Dr. Acheampong said.
