Nasco Ghana, the nation’s leading electronics brand, cemented its commitment to celebrating Ghanaian football excellence by presenting state-of-the-art appliances to the 2025 Ghana Football Awards Home-Based Male and Female Players of the Year.

In a heartfelt gesture, Nasco awarded Razak Simpson of Nations FC and Mary Berkoe of Police Ladies with a 65-inch 4K Smart LED TV and an energy-efficient Inverter Air Conditioner each, at two distinct ceremonies held in Accra.

A Grand Gesture for a Defensive Titan

The first presentation took place at the sleek Electroland Ghana office in Accra. Razak Simpson, the formidable defender whose commanding presence fortified Nations FC’s backline throughout the season, was honored as the Home-Based Male Player of the Year.

The event, attended by Nasco executives, was a celebration of Razak’s grit and leadership on the pitch.

Mr. Nour Seklaoui, Nasco Ghana’s Managing Director, handed over the gleaming 65-inch Nasco 4K Smart LED TV and a high-performance Inverter Air Conditioner to a visibly moved Razak.

“Nasco is proud to support Ghana’s football heroes,” Seklaoui said. “Razak’s dedication inspires us all, and we’re thrilled to enhance his home with our cutting-edge technology.”

Razak, known for his composure under pressure, expressed his gratitude.

“This is a huge honor,” he said, his voice filled with pride. “Nasco’s generosity motivates me to keep pushing for excellence. These gifts will make my home a place of comfort and joy for my family.

Empowering Leadership

Later that day, the spotlight shifted to the Police CID Headquarters in Accra, where Mary Berkoe, the electrifying 37-year-old midfielder for Police Ladies, was celebrated as the Home-Based Female Player of the Year.

Mary’s prolific goal-scoring and relentless energy on the field earned her the prestigious title, and Nasco Ghana ensured her achievement was marked with distinction.

In a ceremony attended by the Director of CID, DCOP Lydia Donkor, senior police officials, and Nasco’s Marketing Manager Adiza Ibrahim Sadiq, Mary received her 65-inch Nasco 4K Smart LED TV and Inverter Air Conditioner.

The setting, steeped in the pride of the Ghana Police Service, added a unique gravitas to the occasion. Adiza Ibrahim, Nasco’s Marketing Manager, presented the gifts, stating,

Mary Berkoe is a trailblazer for women’s football in Ghana. Nasco is honored to celebrate her success with appliances that reflect our commitment to quality and innovation.

Mary, beaming with confidence, thanked Nasco for their support.

This recognition means the world to me and my team,” she said. “Nasco’s gifts are not just rewards but a reminder of the support we have to keep breaking barriers in women’s football.

Nasco’s Commitment to Ghanaian Football

The dual presentations underscored Nasco Ghana’s ongoing dedication to uplifting local talent. Nasco Ghana ensured that both players’ prizes were delivered to their homes, transforming their living spaces into havens of comfort and entertainment.

The gleaming appliances, showcased during the ceremonies, symbolized Nasco’s commitment to quality and its dedication to uplifting Ghana’s football heroes.

The Ghana Football Awards became more than a celebration of athletic prowess; it was a testament to the power of corporate support in championing local talent. Nasco Ghana’s thoughtful presentations at the Electroland office and Police CID Headquarters left an indelible mark, with Razak and Mary’s prizes serving as enduring reminders of their stellar achievements. Nasco’s role in honoring Ghana’s football stars shone as brightly as the players themselves.
