Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has stated that the club is ready to welcome want away players back to the fold should they decide to come back.

He said this while addressing questions about his team as the Red Devils prepare to compete in preseason in the United States.

Jadon Sancho, Tyrell Malacia, Antony and Alejandro Garnacho are not part of United’s contingent; another exiled player, Marcus Rashford, earlier this week signed to join FC Barcelona on a yearlong loan deal.

Recently signed players Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbuemo are with the team in Chicago and despite the club indicating its readiness to move on from the likes of Garnacho, Amorim says if the club isn’t able to move them by close of the transfer window, they will be accepted back in the team.

“I know for a fact that these people, Omar [Berrada] and Jason [Wilcox] and the club have a number for these players. If they don’t reach that, they will be Manchester United players, no doubt about that.”

“Some players have to find a new place to have more space in the team and others clearly show they want a new challenge and want new teams. If we reach a point where they have to join the team, they will join the team because they are our players” he said.
