After getting helped off the pitch in the 87th minute, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, has allayed fears that he has suffered another major injury.

The Ghana winger was replaced three minutes to the end of Leicester City’s EFL Championship game against Birmingham City after going down clutching his knee.

Issahaku suffered an ACL injury in November 2024 and recently got back to playing competitive football and after scoring in Leicester’s 2-0 win over Birmingham, Issahaku’s forced substitution sparked fears that the Black Stars player had suffered another injury.

“I am just going to say thank you to the medical team…it’s just a blessing to be back like this again and running again. It’s a good feeling and thank God. It’s just cramps, tired, match fitness but getting there” Issahaku said.
