Bibiani Gold stars head coach Frimpong Manso says his side no longer sees itself as underdogs in the Ghana Premier League after their recent success.

Speaking confidently about his team’s growth, Manso highlighted the transformation of the club’s mentality. “We don’t see ourselves as minors now, we also see ourselves as one of the big guys. We’ve won the league and played against all those teams,” he said.
The miners won the league title last season beating nations fc , Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Lions to the coveted trophy. They begin the 2025/26 campaign in the Ghana Premier league against Bechem United.
The 2024/25 Ghana Premier league champion are drawn against Algeria gaints JS Kabylie in the 2025/26 CAF Champions league preliminary round.
