The tag line of the rematch between Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn was “Unfinished Business” and throughout the much anticipated bout that had a colourful, eye catching ring walk by Eubank Jr with American rap icon 50 Cent, it was Benn who showed that he had unfinished business from the first bout.
The son of boxing legend Nigel Benn scored a big revenge on the April 26 loss to Eubank Jr by scoring a unanimous decision win at the Tottenham Stadium.
50, 000 people including former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan and former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry watched the bout.
Benn had built a steady lead throughout the fight with beautiful combinations and consistently caught Eubank Jr. with straight right shots in the fourth, fifth, seventh and ninth rounds.

Benn’s dominance came to a head in the final round when another right hand shot landed close to the ear of Eubank Jr. off a combination that floored the latter. Benn piled on the pressure and scored another knockdown before the bout ended.

After their fathers fought two classic bouts that had Eubank Sr. score a win and draw, Conor Benn levelled the field in the second generation’s saga by scoring a 119-107, 116-110 and 118-108 win over Eubank Jr. in the rematch.
