The Member of Parliament for Manhyia North, Akwasi Konadu, has launched the 2025 Manhyia North Christmas Gala Tournament, reaffirming his commitment to using sports as a tool to unite communities within the constituency.

The official opening took place on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at the Buokrom Estate B-Line Park, where the MP joined residents, football teams, and organisers to begin the highly anticipated competition.

This year’s gala follows a two-group league format, with the top two teams from each group progressing to the playoffs.

As part of his continued support for youth and sports development, Mr. Konadu donated footballs, cash support, and full sets of training kits to all participating teams to ensure a fair, exciting, and competitive tournament.
